I have a daughter, and I want her to get the HPV vacine, however, her mother (we're divorced) refuses to take her to the Doctor. As far as I know, her refusal is based upon nothing more than the fact that I think it's a good idea.
Sometimes, people are not smart enough to protect their own children, thus, legislation is required.
