My Morning Wooten

McGuire best pick for Court of Appeals

Really?

Even true north Republican Erick Erickson isn't so sure.
I shouldn’t say this, but I will. At what point does Perry McGuire become a perennial candidate? How many times lately has he run for a statewide office?
I'm just wondering. What is the going price at the AJC for rewording a press release?

I'm available.

He's the least qualified of the candidates on the slate, the only one I can say with no hesitation that I would never vote for. You should have either tried a case or argued an appeal (and ideally lots and lots of both) to be on an appellate court, and McGuire has done neither.

Of course, Wooten also believes that the Court of Appeals never rules on constitutional issues, so once again he has tried and failed to write intelligently about something involving the legal system.
