Over The Line

We've had a previous discussion about Tom Crawford. One of my regular readers quite correctly chastised me for not calling him out on his latest wild ravings.

Well that stops now.
I am confident that Congressman Lynn Westmoreland (R-Dachau), who considers Obama to be too "uppity" for his taste, had a similar reaction.
Dachau? Really?

We all love to slap witty, hyperbolic appellations on our political targets, but there is nothing witty about this and it makes hyperbole blush in embarrassment.

Crass, Tom. And certainly not what I would expect from a writer of your skill.

Well, it's nice to know I'm not the only one.

Tom has a pulse. Rare indeed in Georgia political writing. And people with pulses and brain waves and such can get a little carried away with their keyboards on occasion.

Like I'd know anything about that.

Personally, I'm not one to go check under the, er, hood, heh heh heh, to see if Erick's a white supremacist or not. But I found THAT Crawford tidbit a bit more hyperbole-ish than the Dachau thingee.

Mostly, comedic flourishes employed in political musings should be left to highly-trained, well-lit pros... Stewart and Colbert for example.

Or maybe if Crawford left Manuel's long enough to go purchase a pair of hipster glasses and some new shoes he could pull it off...

I'll stop now before Witchy Poo emerges!
