Ask and yea shall receive they say.
WSB is reporting that Rep. Cynthia McKinney flew Shaft / Chef Isaac Hayes to D.C. to dedicate her new office.
If I say what's next again will more craziness ensue? Let's find out. Good god, what's next?

Heard about this on the radio this morning. She has apparently apologized and agreed to return the $1000 or so of taxpayer funds that she used to pay for Hayes' travel expenses. Why she can quickly apologize for this, but not for smacking a cop, I do not understand. But then I am only a little bit crazy, and Rep. McKinney is somewhere approaching batshit.
ssIs she a Scientologist? Or did she just fly Chef in for some sweet, sweet lovin'?
I've decided you, griftdrift, need to run for Cynthia's seat. It's probably not too late to file, you live in the district, it's a slam dunk. And hey some other crazy religious right blogger is thinking of running for her seat, I'd much rather it be you if someone's gonna be elected.
I can see the ads now...
" GRIFT DRIFT FOR CONGRESS:
I'm not as crazy as McKinney."
Or maybe, "Just The Amount Of Crazy Georgia Needs"
How about "Griftdrift: Those Skeletons in the Closet Shouldn't Scare Ya Too Much"
Many years ago, The Firesign Theater did an album that featured a presidential candidate named George Pappoon. His campaign slogan was, "Pappoon for President! Not Insane!"
Or you could mimic Kinky Friedman in his run for Texas Governor: "Why The Hell Not?"
I can see blackjackk will need to be paid some hush money if we're gonna get this plan off the ground.
A case of PBR and a prominent position on the Griftdrift staff should cover it...
You want "a prominent position on the griftdrift staff?"
*giggle*
Oy! Let me rephrase....
