Strange Tales of Georgia Politics and Media
with whom!?!?!? ;)
Actually its an old church thing. There was at least one sunday every year that after service we would have dinner on the ground. It was a pot luck dinner and after you filled your plate with fried chicken, field peas, cream corn, turnips and cornbread, you would sit on the ground picnic style with family and friends.Things Remembered is going to be a new feature kind of like Songs In My Head.
I didn't know they let heathens into the church picnics.
Even heathens were young once. And the food was so tasty!
I was going to say..."dinner on the ground" is commonly referred to as a "picnic" by us civilized heathens. But then I've never started speaking in tonuges at a picnic, so what do I know.
