
Midway Church in Midway, Ga.
When I was a little boy I visited this church and obviously it stuck in my mind. It was built in 1756 , burned during the American Revolution and rebuilt in 1796. It now sits serenely in the midst of moss draped oaks.

Thanks Amber. That is one of my favorites. It's like this little hidden gem. Actually I shouldn't say little. The church is massive compared to most country churches. It comes up on you so fast that you almost fly by. I had to wheel ala the Bandit into this gravel drive at the last minute.
