Well it's easier if she's seriously obese. Then she would not necessarily notice the 20 lb. or more weight gain in her midsection. And she might already have such screwed up hormones that missing 9 months of periods wouldn't phase her. (It actually happened to me a few years ago--my hormones were out of whack and I didn't have a period for almost 11 months. Then one day it suddenly reappeared.) Or she could have spotted a few times and thought it was her period--women can have some small bleeding even while pregnant. And then I guess once the baby started moving she would've presumed it was just gastrointestinal issues or something.

She had to be hugely obese and completely out of touch with her body. There are so many physical changes you'd have to be a spaced out zombie freak not to know. I hope the walmart gave her free diapers.
