One of my regular watering holes is celebrating its 50th anniversary this week. Manuels is the third oldest bar in Atlanta (I refuse to count Atkins Park). Most of Atlanta history and a significant chunk of griftdrift history has passed through these walls.
Seems like a good time to bring back this recent Manuels story.
If you are in Atlanta this week, you should stop by for cheap beer and cheap hot dogs. You may even see a certain blogger there today, tomorrow, thursday....
