The Swirl of Stupid

Less than 24 hours after the AJC lifts my heart, it jumps right back in the disappointment pool.

I suppose all is right in the warped world again. I'm pretty much beyond words at this point so go read Sara.

She says everything that needs to be said.

Were members of their group not the subject of the original op-ed?

If so, it makes more sense for the paper to print their response over someone else's, no matter how more coherent or 21st Century that response may have been.

No, the flower people also participated in the parade but I don't think they're the "grizzled girth-widened" hippies carrying the Impeach Bush signs who Grabar chastised in her original op-ed. In fact they describe the targets of the original piece as "some of our buds."

Get it? GET IT??? Some of our BUDS!!! They are so clever!!!

Right, but I read "buds" to mean members of their own group. I guess I have an easier time picturing a group called "The Dancing Flowers for Peace" using the term reflexively rather than as a shortened form of "buddies." But then, I don't do many drugs.

So, if not them, what actually was the offending group?

I havent' seen the Flowers, so that may not be mutually exclusive!

BTW, when do we get the Emory Village expose you promised a few weeks back? The old Jagger's looks more and more blighted every time I go by it.
