Begala On Changing Communications

Bernaise Source has an excellent interview with Paul Begala. Go read it.

Bloggers on both the left and right bedevil corporate media, and I couldn't be happier about it (even though, as a mainstream media pundit at CNN, I get my share of grief from both the left and the right). They keep us honest. You have to have a thick kin, but why should media be immune from the same sort of scrutiny we give politicians?

Yep.

Jon Stewart's "hissy fit," as Begala describes it, was responsible for getting "Crossfire" canceled, and for that I'll always be grateful.

While Begala seems like a very personable guy, at the end of the day he's still just a political hack of the basest kind--maybe not as bad as Carville, but I'll bet a nickel that he's going to use every chance he gets as part of CNN's (cough, gag) "Best political team on television" to shill for his old pal Hillary.
