The Orlando Sentinel is reporting Katherine Harris is questioning Bill Nelson's Christianity.
In an interview published by a Christian news service, Harris said that incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson "claims to be a Christian" but supports policies completely contrary to what we say we believe."
The key word there Katherine is we. Despite the wet dream of some fundamentalists, not all Christians are the same. Only the adherents of the most rigid, dare I say Sharia-like, code of Christianity seem to accuse their opponents of being apostates.
Nelson issued a statement this week, saying, "My faith is the essence of my being. But it is a part of my life I don't feel I should try to take advantage of in the public square."
Even a heathen like me would add an amen to that statement.
