This news just ruined my whole damned day. If Hillary is the Democratic candidate now, we are well and truly fucked.
I wonder what his reasoning was? Some skeletons in the closet, or was he talked out of it in favor of someone who can emerge from a hopefully favorable leadership stint in a Democratically controlled Congress?
OK the first word out there is that in the wake of the Foley scandal, he realized past philandering would probably become a huge campaign problem. Veddy interesting...
