Oh hon, that IS a little weird and all. But it gets weirder still! Sit down and let me tell you a little SG tale...
When I was a gal, right off a the (organic) farm, I came to the Big City with my cousin, Miss Rheta of Charleston, where we met up with Miss Catherine, straight outta the ATL. Oh, we weren't but about right outta college and such when we all made our ways to the Poncey-Highland area of Atlanta, early-eighties thereabouts. White Dot, 688 era. Pretty much right offa our daddys' front porches I tell ya.
Anyways, getting to the point here, Miss Rheet, as we family call her, grew-up, eventually, to become big time in management over there at the big 'ole gub'mnt palace, the CDC, way up in STDs nowadays.
And Miss Cath, well, she packed her bags and headed a-ways on out to the West Coast, San Fran, in the Dot Bomb days to seek her online fortune. And Lordy if she didn't end-up up in upper management a coupla years ago at... get this... Second Life.
And me, well, I got the SGR and all...
I always knew we Southern gals were pretty cool and special and different and stuff, but I had no idea we were the freakin' zeitgeist.
