Thanks. But No Thanks.

Let me ask you a question.

If you blew someone off so unprofessionally that they all but publicly called you out, would you then spam them in an attempt to get them to move your content?

I ask this not as a blogger or a writer but as someone who has been in the business world for 20 years and understands that pissing off a potential channel is not the best way to launch a product.

That's strike two.

It happens again and the call-out will be public and it will not be kind.

I know who you're talking about. The email address they have of mine is old, too, which makes me curious who they got their list from.

Rusty. It's apparent they used some poor intern or another poorly paid schlub to troll all the websites. Another ham fisted approach to promotion. They are actually entering BNN territory now.

Blackjackk. Yes.

Ciambellina. At this point I'll just say it is one of these "new journalism" outfits and leave it at that. They irritate me further and there will be full elaboration.

Or maybe they bought a list from someone, which would be kind of funny. I've been placed on someone else's email list recently too at the old address, which might not be a coincidence. Or it might. Either way, they're doin' it wrong.
