I try not to allow fiction to intrude on reality. But I just heard something that resonated. From Primary Colors.

I've never heard a President use words like "destiny" and "sacrifice" without thinking bullsh*t.

That pretty much crystalizes why I support Obama. So, I'm going to indulge in embracing the platitudes of unreality for a moment.
