Well That Didn't Take Long

Just a few hours after I offered some qualified praise for Cynthia McKinney in her debate performance, she goes and sues the AJC for libel.

OK that is hilarious. And hopefully the AJC will avail itself of truth as an absolute defense.

But this part of the article pissed me off: "J.M. Raffauf, her attorney, has filed charges against the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, editor Cynthia Tucker, and its publisher John Mellott following an article the paper ran on Sunday, July 30, 2006."

You don't file charges for a civil defamation suit, idiots. All Headline News deserves a big fat eyeroll for that stupid mistake.

I'll bet Sara figured out a way to bill some client for her time on this one.

That would be unethical, which I am not.

I did, however, read the blog from trial this morning when testimony got a little "slow." But luckily I wasn't on the clock at the time.
