This follows the blast in Karachi two days ago that killed 57 people.

New cycle in the sense of meta-terrorism on the scale of al-qaeda assaults. Not the ongoing steady dose of violence caused by the hornets nest of Iraq. These two events so close together just uncomfortably reminds me of Spain and Bali. A coordinated world wide attack on major targets.
